| FONTANA - Located on the western edge of Geneva Lake in Walworth County, with a year-round population of about 1,850 residents, Fontana offers the peace and serenity of a small town, but with easy accessibility from the Milwaukee, Chicago, and Rockford areas. It is a weekend destination for another 3,500 to 5,000 property owners and guests at any given time. |
THE BEACH
The Village of Fontana Beach is located off Fontana Boulevard.
Beach hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day until Labor Day, seven days a week, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Swim at your own risk when no lifeguards on duty.
The large sandy beach has a wide grassy area and changing rooms. A pay station parking lot is adjacent to the beach.
Daily beach passes and concessions are available at the beach house from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Season Passes for Fontana Residents/Property Owners
Residents/Property Owners may purchase up to six (6) season passes at $3.00 per pass. Additional season passes may be purchased at the Village Hall for applicant, spouse and minor dependent children residing with applicant. Each additional pass is $5.00 per pass for up to six (6) additional passes.

LAUNCH FEES
The Village of Fontana Beach provides a boat launch for residents and non-residents on Lake Avenue. The launch ramp is open 24 hours a day. When not manned, there is an honor box for Launch Ramp Fee payments.

MOVIES ON THE BEACH
Bring the your family and a beach blanket and enjoy a movie on the beach. Admission fee is $1.00 per person and concessions are available for purchase. Shows start at dusk.

Movies on the beach are sponsored by the Big Foot Recreation District.
